It becomes essential to create supportive and age-friendly environments that foster attachment and enhance the quality of life. This study uses a mixed-methods approach. Including literature review, case studies, and sur veys to examine how to design interventions can enhance place attachment for seniors. The case studies examine elderly housing projects, emphasizing design elements that promote accessibility, safety, comfort, social interaction, and a sense of identity and belonging. The surveys aim to collect data from senior citizens living in selected cases to determine their level of place attachment and their perceptions of the role of design in promoting attachment. The findings will add to the existing body of knowledge about the relationship between the built environment and place attachment, particularly for senior citizens.
