Abstract: The purpose of this study is to comprehend the cultural significance of the Naramdev brahmin from the nimar region of Madhya Pradesh and their traditional architecture. The Narmdiya Brahmins, also known as Naramdevs, are descendants of the Somnath temple priests who were forced to migrate from Gujarat to Madhya Pradesh and are settled along the Narmada River’s bank (“Naramdev Brahmin,” n.d.). In order to understand the continuing cultural significance of traditional spaces from — Khargone —documentation of naramdev brahmin’s house from is included in this research. In Khargone, temples are an integral part of the home, and their architecture changes with time to meet local needs. Traditional and contemporary styles seem to be in contrast to one another. This study employs the survey, case study, and observation methods of descriptive research. This research makes different observations and interpretations rather than offering closing remarks.
