dc.description.abstractThe process of change and growth that occurs gradually in urban areas is referred to as “urban transformation” in analytical contexts. It is aware of the ongoing, difficult, and dynamic processes that take place in cities. It also focuses on how these dy namics alter how cities operate, how local needs are met, and how the environment and surroundings of cities change. An urban area’s physical and spatial layout is called the urban fabric. It includes organizing, planning, and arranging the city’s built environment. The built environment includes streets, parks, buildings etc. Detailing out urban fabric includes the relation of the street, built-up space, open space and plot. This paper focuses on the physical environmental condition of urban areas. Understanding the form and function of the existing urban fabric. It describes a few ways an urban form can transform. Studying urban transformation helps solve urban problems for better places and urbanization. It results in providing historical continui ty while planning for future development. How urban fabric has evolved with contex tual relation i.e. building to plot, building to street, building to block, etc. The result would be differentiating between urban fabrics that evolved over the period of time. The outcome draws a clear line that urban form has evolved by the local environ ment. The study concludes by transforming the skyline of the selected studied area of time.en_US
