dc.description.abstractDeafSpace Design principles (DSDGs) are the field of study which sets about the major intersections that can be drawn in Architectural design spaces and the Deaf culture, which sets about the particularities of the cultural group in space. While learning institutions provide us with functionality, security, and other ideal forms of habitation, they still challenge the embodied experience of a deaf individual to locate in the space. Focussing on the user’s narrative in the articulation of a built up is an important part of the study as it changes from region to culture. Deaf in the Uk and deaf in India are both culturally different. Universal DSDGs act differently everywhere. Thus, this research centers around understanding the parallels between the user’s narrative and the guidelines with suggestive additions, by studying the different geographical and cultural setups.
