| Abstract: | This paper describes CAMEL (Customized Applications for Mobile Enhanced Logic) an IN (Intelligent Network) for the GSM, GPRS and UMTS network. Evolution of CAMEL phases, phase 1 and phase 2 enables SMS (short message service) charging and roaming of PPS (Prepaid service) subscribers in network and countries, with network protocols other then intelligent network application protocol (INAP).
