Electro-oxidation treatment technology for industrial wastewater adopted to completely destroy high Cyanide and COD content of Acrylonitrile plant effluent (Quench Upper Column Stream). Then consequently recover Ammonium Sulphate of fertilizer grade purity from left out solution. BDD electrode employed to generate Hydroxyl radicals (*OH), which are very efficient oxidizing agents. Different parameters (batch, flow, open, closed systems) were adjusted for electrolysis and analyzed to obtain meaningful data. Practical online applicability of technology compared with conventional treatment technology (Incineration) for plant stream.en
