Abstract: | The Development of the Non Linear Elastic plastic theory is the Need of the World for the Materials which is Loaded in Creep Range and Buckling. Prime Focus is on the Coke Drum Skirt Material Failure. CokeDrum is Manufacture in Larson and Toubro Ltd, Hazira Works, Surat. this Drum is Used For the Cocking and Decoking of the Coal.Drum is the Rested on Skirt and Welded with toricone Shell support. So Due to Long Time Temprature and Pressure Variation and also Continu- ously working ,Skirt Material is subjected to Creep Buckling. This Report Comprises the Work Related to the Development of Isochronous Curve of the Skirt Material (1.25Cr-0.5Mo Alloy Steel) and Elastic Plastic Theory. similarly it can be developed for other material also. by nding Isochronous curve We can found out Maximum Allowable Buckling Stress for the Material. Also by knowing Stress and Strain Values for particular Temperature and Given Load- ing Remaining life of the Component can be found out. After developing the isochronous curve we can know the allowable buckling Strength of material,by calculating Tangent and Secant Modules at that stress by calculating proof stress. Finally we can found out allowable compressive stress developed in the Skirt Material so that Failure of the Skirt can be avoided. These curves are particularly useful in evaluating in Creep Buckling potential of component. |
