dc.description.abstractToday Industry is pushing towards complete system on chip design solutions that include the power management. The power management technique has increased spectacularly in the use of portable, handheld battery operated devices. Power management system contains several subsystems including linear voltage regulators, switching regulators and control logic. The aim of dissertation is to design state of art multi output voltage regulator for Precision Applications. Precision applications requires low temperature coecient, low power design and operation with wide range of temperature such as -55C to 125 C for military and -40 C to 85 C for industrial applications. Especially when design is targeted as part of ASIC then further process and supply variation are also to be ad- dressed.Such regulator needs very good dynamic performance. The reference voltage should provide ultra low temperature coecient for the military Temperature range of -55C to 125C. The commercial o the shelf available voltage reference does not meet this type of requirement. The two novel circuit topologies has been identi ed, designed and implemented to achieve such a high precision requirements. Here the improvement methods regarding voltage regulator and its modules are discussed and simulated. All the module of the voltage regulator like Voltage reference, Pass elements, Sample elements and an error ampli er are designed and simulated using the Design Architecture and Eldo spice Tool using general 0.35um technology are discussed and analyzed.en
