The synthesis of 4-thiazolidinones can be achieved from 2-phenyl-3-substituted benzalamino- indole with thioglycolic, thiolactic, at high temperatures. Elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR, and mass spectral data established identification of the compounds. Products were evaluated for their antimicrobial activity using cup plate method1. Some of the obtained compounds showed the interesting antimicrobial activity.en
