M-Ticket- An M-Commerce Application

Abstract

“Mobile is the Mind of Human Being.” This Statement Becomes true now a day due to high rise in mobile users. From a Servant to CEO, All are having mobile in their hands. Because of this Scenario the Concept of M-Commerce is adopted world Wide. Due to Different M-Commerce application life of human beings becomes easy. One of the M-Commerce applications is M-Ticket. M-Ticket is Replacement of E-Ticket. People are familiar with the Concept and use of E-Ticket. By E-Ticket workload of person is reduced. Some of the constraints to be satisfy for using this technology like if a person wants to use E-ticket then he/she must have an internet enabled computer through which he/she can book ticket online and printer is also require for taking hard copy of E-Ticket. This Technology is used up to the mark but we can reduce some of the existing constraints by using the concept of M-Ticket. Through mobile or handheld device book the ticket anywhere anytime and get the confirmation of M-Ticket in your mobile or handheld Device. Just keep this device with you anywhere you travel in the Train. Instead of showing hardcopy of E-Ticket to ticket checker just show M-Ticket to ticket checker and M-Ticket will be authenticated by him. This paper will be focused more on the concept and terminology of M-Ticket, Lamination of Current system , Advantages of M-Ticket and authentication process for M-Ticket
