Manilkara zapota, Tamarindus indica, Anona squamosa, Carica papaya and Citrus limon against 9 different gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Their antibacterial potential was tested using agar diffusion and broth dilution methods and their MIC values were reported. Potent extracts were subjected to preliminary characterization.
