With the advent of Inexpensive personal aamputers and evolution of network technologies in the past few decades, there has been a phenomenal rise in the use of client/server applications based on the TCP^fP protocol, The problem on such networks is the occurrence of redundant broadcast traffic primarily the Address Resofution Protocol (ARP), which is responsible for mapping the logicaJ IPv4 address to hardw^are based Media Access Contror (MAC) address. This paper aims, proposes the resolution of this chronic probiein by the utilization of sialic ARP in highly Irafficked servers and measuring the perfornnance benefit that can be achieved by using this technique.en
