Corrosion of reinforcing steel and subsequent concrete deterioration is a major prob- lem faced by the construction industry. Researchers have attempted for improvement in di erent properties of structural members by using various types of innovative ma- terials and techniques. application of anti-corrosion coating on steel bar and use of cementitious material also protect the structure from damages due to the corrosion. Total 15 RC column specimens are cast. Diameter of column is 150 mm and height of column is 500 mm. All columns are cast using M25 grade of concrete. 6 column are cast by using anti-corrosion coatin on steel. and another 6 column are cast by adding 20% yash in mortar. Variations employed in present study are di erent techniques of accelerated corrosion, di erent methods for protection and repair for RC columns. column is corroded by using impress anodic current. Corrosion rate is assessed by using the half-cell potentiometer.en_US
