Abstract: A two-step reaction of substituted anilines with biphenyl-2-carboxylic moiety via synthesis of biphenylcarbonylchloride. A series of new Aniline derivatives of biphenyl 2-carboxylic acid were synthesized which having biphenyl moiety. Antihypertensive activity was evaluated by molecular modelling study. Homology modeling and docking study were carried out for MAB. Homology modelling was done by bovin rhosopasin as a template and AT1 receptor as target sequence. Docking study was carried out by grid docking method. This method was based on scoring function. MAB shown interaction with LEU84, ILU87, TYR52 and PHE8. MAB not exhibited antihypertensive activity. Docking study shown that interaction of ligand with receptor or residues was not more reliable as the interaction of original ligand with residues or receptor. The structure of the new compounds have been confirmed by spectral data. The products were obtained in good to moderate yields and are in a state of high purity.
