| Abstract: | The novel eight armed calix[4]resorcinarene bearing eight hydroxamic acid groups have been synthesized by reacting octa functionalized calix[4]resorcinarene carbonyl chloride with p-carboxy- N-phenyl hydroxylamine at low temperature. This compound is characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, and 1H-NMR. |
