Abstract: This paper presents Field Oriented Control of Induction motor using dsPIC30F6010A. A flux-weakening technique is applied when extension of motor speed beyond the base speed is desired. The Field Oriented Control with its flux/torque decoupling feature is realized with the digital PWM controller in rotating d-q coordinate system. The program of field oriented control is successfully built in the MPLAB IDE Emulator and with the c-compiler.
