Abstract: Deep drawing operations are crucial for metal forming operations and manufactur- ing.Obtaining a defect free nal product with the desired mechanical properties is very important for ful lling the customer expectations and market competitions.Wrinkling is one of the fatal and most frequent defects that must be prevented.This dissertation focus on study of the wrinkling problem and related to that parameter.Wall wrinkling commonly occurs in conical cup forming through circular die. The industrial problem has been taken for the detailed study about wall wrinkling.This industrial vessel is formed in 2 stage.Wall wrinkling occurs at the conical section when it is formed during stage 2.The detailed study has been carried out on that vessel.All Simulation is done in HYPERFORM software.HYPERFORM is the e ective module for the analysis of the deep drawing process.First, simulation of existing forming is done to check all the input parameter.Then ,analytical calculation is done.The main reasons for the wall wrinkling is found that abrupt sectional changes and the reduction ratio for the upper and base diameter is not maintained.The correct ratio is selected for both stages and by the simulation of the both stages wrinkles free industrial vessel can be formed.
