dc.description.abstractIn beverage industry the air conveyor is the one of the key element. The vertical air conveyor transport PET Bottles at any incline angle up to 90o at speed of up to 18000 bottle per hour. In present work design of the air conveyor for PET bottles for incline angle up to 90o is carried out. Study of air conveyor which transport the bottles horizontal has been carried out to understand the phenomena of bottle transportation in the bottling plant with air pressure. Using the application of ANSYS air conveyor has been designed. The static structural analysis is carried out for the components of air conveyor and the buckling analysis is carried out for the support design of the air conveyor. Natural frequency is the critical parameters to nd out the vibration response of any system. Here the modal analysis of air conveyor is carried out in HYPERWORKS to nd out the fundamental natural frequencies of air conveyor system. The air pressure drop in the conveying line is the critical parameter in air conveying system. The Flow analysis has been used through ANSYS FLUENT for air pressure drop in conveyor which helps in selection of appropriate blower. The main objective of the project is to Design air conveyor for PET Bottle for vertical conveying up to 90.en_US
