Abstract: Applications like disaster management require processing of large volume of data located on heterogeneous computing resources in a near real time. For such applications high–speed-computing environment like Grid Computing is the essential requirement. The Disaster Management Synthetic Aperture Radar (DMSAR) flight will fly over the disaster-affected area for capturing the data which required to be transferred immediately to the nearer ground station from aircraft via satellite for processing. Due to weight and power constraint of the antenna this type of application use one way communication medium. In that case data is required to be transferred via UDP protocol. But in satellite environment bit error rate is near about 10^-6 which corrupt the packet during over the air transmission and when it arrives at receiving end, entire packet of 1500Byte(12000bits) drop while processing a packet in Linux kernel network code due to checksum failure. In this dissertation, Implementation of the TCP/IP Stack in Linux kernel is studied. This is basic requirement to develop this protocol as it requires changing Linux kernel network code of various layers to disable packet drop due to checksum failure. This Protocol also provides the facility to set the margin of error acceptable to the application. This Protocol development is extended for partial data checksum facility at UDP Layer. This protocol is augmented for one-way communication in aero-mobile application.
