Abstract: Cloud computing promises to increase the velocity with which applications are deployed, increase innovation, and lower costs, all while increasing business agility. Intel ® Hybrid Cloud platform off0ers small business customers cloud-like flexibility, providing an innovative solution, which implements a subscription-based model for providing locally-hosted server software on a pay-as-you-go basis. Small businesses get all of the benefits of services in the cloud, with the responsiveness and consistency of local applications, plus the security of having data on site. Intel Hybrid Cloud (IHC) servers had a client application based manageability option. But to enable all the management features on the client application, user had to punch holes on the Firewall. This had been a pain point reported by all the users. By enabling all the management features in the Intel Hybrid Cloud portal via the ICC, we enabled IHC management without opening any ports on the firewall. Also, the end users are exposed to a lot of security and privacy risks. The insider attacks within an organization has become a growing security concern. To address these issue, we implemented a Role Based Access Control model for the multi-user and multi-tier portal.
