dc.description.abstractBusiness Intelligence (BI) is a way to help organization to take better business related decisions. These decisions can be based on the current or historical data that is present in the data ware house. Since Business Intelligence aims to support better decision making capability in business, a BI system is also termed as a decision support system (DSS). The objective is to improve the timeliness and quality of inputs to the decision process. This report describes different tools such as SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) and Power Pivot to generate indicators for the organization. It also includes query optimization that is done in order to improve the processing time of the indicators.en_US
