dc.description.abstract | In present study the approximate anal}'Sis and exact analysis of folded plate roof truss, and design of Truss members with Tubular sections is covered. Percentage difference in results of approximate and exact Analysis is only about 10 to 15 percentage. .It must be emphasized that the method of analysis outlined in this present study is in general approximate. This can be used effectively for preliminary designs. For more complicated and large span structure, more accurate methods of final analysis should be used That type of rigorous analysis is exact and that is also carried out in this present study by the help of Software. .After analysis and the design of truss members by both methods, (i.e. Approximate and Exact) the comparison has been carried out Design is done as per the respective nature of forces. .The general design summary has been prepared. Whole roof assembly is resting on End Frames at both ends and end frames are resting on Columns at both ends. Analysis and design of end frame, column and girts are also carried out And finally the parametric study of Roofing system for same geometry has been done. | en |
