Abstract: The integration of renewable energy systems (RESs) in smart grids (SGs) is a challenging task, mainly due to the intermittent and unpredictable nature of the sources, typically wind or sun. Another issue concerns the way to support the consumers participation in the electricity market aiming at minimizing the costs of the global energy consumption. This project proposes an Active Demand Side Management (ADSM) aiming at optimizing the SGs operation. The ADSM aggregates of distributed energy resources allowing the consumers to participate in the open energy market. By integrating demand side management (DSM) and active management schemes (AMS), it allows a better exploitation of renewable energy sources and a reduction of the customers energy consumption costs with both economic and environmental benefits. It can also improve the grid resilience and extorability through the active participation of distribution system operators (DSOs) and electricity supply/demand that, according to their preferences and costs, respond to real-time price signals using market processes. In this project, the load side and generation side demand at different time are analyzed. These all the adjustment of the load and generation demand are managed through the PLC. By programming of the database in the PLC that can be implemented in the SCADA. For the data management of the different load and supply system in this process of work. The human machine interface to give the ow and control analysis at different loading and supply system will be programmed. All the data are collected through the PLC. This technique is part of smart grid. Also, involve the database management of the supply side.
