Abstract: This project proposes a wireless monitoring and control system for greenhouse based on PSoC3 development kit and zig-bee for solving the problem such as excessive manpower requirement, complex circuitry and wiring and real time data monitoring. The objective of this project is to create a greenhouse product which can easily be operated by user irrespective of location and time. This system consists of a master and a number of slaves. The master part is connected to PC and sends required data to slave wirelessly using zig-bee. Slave has relays and actuators which can control the environmental parameters like temperature and humidity and sends acknowledgement to the master. Master is connected to GSM Modem, so that messages can be send to a mobile phone. The most salient feature of this technology is in terms of providing operational flexibility to user facilitating, the user to operate it from anywhere at anytime.
