Abstract: Bandsaw machines are useful for transformed the raw material into the required Size which can capable of easy storing and handling capability. Bi-metal blades are used for cutting metals .Fatigue cracking problem at gullet tooth region of blade is mostly occurs. It need to optimize the blade design at gullet region for reducing damage. Optimization of gullet region, Finite element analysis method is used. Fillet values at different gullets have been changed and produced stresses were found. Life tests were performed for various set angles and same has been compared. Bandsaw blade was chattering during cutting and analysis is carried out with help of sound analysis. Sound was recorded with help of microphone and imported this time domain series in Spectra-plus software. Chatter data of different blades was compared and found out best blade for given material.
