A tractor is an engineering agriculture vehicle specially designed for deliver a high tractive force (or torque) at slow speeds, for the purposes of connecting a trailer or machinery used in agriculture or construction. Agricultural implements are towed behind and mounted on the tractor, and the tractor may also provide a source of power if the implement is mechanized. Any modern tractor consists of mainly four major mechanisms and they are engine, transmission system, deferential system and hydraulic system. Here, the objective of this project is to perform mechanical design with all calculations, 3D modeling, FEA analysis and size optimization of deferent parts of deferential system of modern tractor. In this project mechanical design and structure analysis of crown wheel and pinion , sun and star gears in deferential gear box, spur gear pair of rare axle, bull shaft and rare axle shaft, spline design for al shafts and appropriate selection of bearings for the shafts carried out. Detailed modeling assembly, simulation ,FEA analysis and optimization are explained which is performed in CAD-CAM and CAE Soft wares.en_US
