In this work the effort is made to convert the existing manually operated drill point grinding machine to automated drill point grinding machine. In existing set up of drill pointing machine where in un pointed drill is fed to the slot and operator press the handle for pointing it. In the proposed Automatic point drill grinding machine there is a bush which has an ability to rotate the drill and lock the drill into the desire condition. The piston and cylinder mechanism which forwards the work head. After forwarding the work head there is a another guide way which is forward by piston and cylinder mechanism and has a locking pin which support the Drill when it is in contact with the grinding wheel. The whole work piece assembly moves forward and there is a CBN type conical grinding wheel. Once the one side of drill pointed than whole assembly moves right for pointing another side and than move to the original position. The piston again up for receiving drill and the completed drill received outside in the box. After that there is a design of each component and analysis of the horizontal saddle and vertical saddle.en_US
