dc.description.abstract | In existing point grinding machine drill bit is hold into fixture. In this holding and feeding process carried out manually one at time by an operator. There for due to this manually process number of rejection in drill bits are more. In this newly developed automatic feeding system. First drill bits are feed into hopper which is specially designed for small size drill. It's holds 3mm-8mm diameter in size. This hopper flexible in design so it's carried drill bits of various sizes which reduce effort of changing hopper for different sizes of drill bits. The forward and return movement of hopper for dropping the drill in slot is carried out by a hydraulic cylinder. There is another cylinder mechanism which carried out rod. On the other end of rod pusher is connected which carries drill bit into fixture for grinding process. | en_US |
