The study of stress analysis is an immense field of research and many researchers have contributed with their great efforts and shown interest for solving varieties of problems analytically and experimentally. To satisfy the service requirements or to achieve some special needs many times holes are produced into the component. The shape of hole may be circular, elliptical, square, triangle or any other shape. These holes increase the stress concentration and may become the cause of failure of the component. Thus, for safety purpose it is necessary to understand the stress pattern around the hole under the application of various types of loading conditions. Here an attempt is made to establish the solution for the problem of finite plate with multiple holes. Muskhelishvili's complex variable method is used with least square boundary collocation method to analyze the stresses in plate with holes. Generalized analytical formulation is obtained for a square plate with centered circular hole by applying different loading and displacement constraints. The stresses are obtained on the boundary of hole in square symmetric plate with single hole, two holes and four holes and some of these results of present method are compared with finite element solutions using CAE tools.en_US
