dc.description.abstractA tractor is an engineering vehicle specifically designed to deliver a high tractive effort (or torque) at slow speeds, for the purpose of hauling a trailer or machinery used in agriculture or construction. Here 18HP mini tractor having 4-speed gearbox. The tractor which is working in different load condition so that high and low torque channel is provided. Final output speed of this tractor is fixed so according to that gear ratio have been arranged and also calculated all the gear pair ratio, torque load cycle in each and every gear, design of shaft and design of spline manually. Select bearing as per loading condition and create modelling and assembly of each and every part by using CAD software mainly Solid edge ST5, Creo 2.0. Structure analysis of all the parts are done by using Creo 2.0 even using this software size optimization of main transmission body is done.en_US
