Abstract: The Applied Element Method (AEM) is a Newly Developed Technique which has proved to be effective in predicting the behavior of structure during all stages of analysis starting from zero loading to complete collapse. In this paper, Introduction of AEM, its Comparison with FEM and modeling procedure using AEM are presented briefly. Various application of AEM, such as earthquake analysis, blast analysis, progressive collapse analysis, demolition analysis and study of soil characteristics, are also summarized.
