Abstract: The report comprises of detailed analysis on oceanography parameters. Each parameter is elaborated for its significance with respect to dependency, correlation, and applications. These parameters are forecasted by National Data Buoy Center(NDBC) and Datasets for this parameters are available on Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center(PODAAC). Real-time measurements are used herein to predict ocean wave dis- placement. The objective to predict ocean wave displacement is to reduce the impact of Natural calamities and overcome the effects of a natural disaster. It helps to reduce the ratio of Human loss, Business loss, Social loss and Infrastructure loss. The wave dis- placement is complex to predict due to continuos movement of waves in the ocean.By predicting wave displacement an approximation of how much area of land surface will be affected by a natural calamity such as the giant waves of Tsunami can be estimated. Such predictions enable taking appropriate precautions to counter the harmful effects of natural disasters.
