The retailer can effectively and efficiently manage their operations through execution of processes.Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS) supports daily operations. It also provides the founda- tion for subsystems that involve Transaction-level systems. It is used as the base application which provides layer on other applications for adding value. In the upcoming version of RMS, Admin API requirements provides to RMS functionalities / features. It will provide that data can easily be set or maintained by data upload and extraction. It will provide the merchandising system features with the bene t that data can be easily inserted or maintained through uploading and extraction of data to and from the RMS system. The user of the system is retailers, who sell items to the end users,' and therefore they have less information about handling the RMS system. So, System will become friendly to the users, higher level of abstraction is also provided to them. Tradi- tionally, the retailers keep their information in EXCEL sheets (.xls or .ods extension). Instead of changing the traditional way of storing data in excel sheet by the retailers, The data will be stored into spreadsheet and directly fetch from it to RMS base tables.
