A Wireless Sensor network consists of large number of small sensor nodes which con- sist of a limited power supply. Wireless Sensor Networks are effective for gathering data in different types of environments. A sensor node supplies the data gathered to a central point, called the base station. In order to gather as much data as possible, the sensor node should be alive for as long as possible. Hence, relaying data to the base station with minimum energy consumption of all the sensor nodes is a primary concern in Wireless Sensor Networks. In this research, an Energy efficient approach for routing in Wireless Sensor Network is proposed. First the sensor network is organized into clusters so that data ows through limited nodes causing less energy dissipation throughout the network, then an algorithm is proposed for searching the shortest and efficient paths in the network for routing.en_US
