The Internet is always changing and trending continuously towards evolution. As Internet is evolving, it is not wrong to say that technologies are also evolving. It started in 1960, when mainframe computers came to existence. Dumb terminals are using mainframes at that time. It took 30 years when commercials PCs came using traditional Server-Client models. Then, in 2000s laptops and Web took the technologies to newer heights. With newer and efficient technologies, Smartphones and Tablets in 2010s evolved using cloud services. Almost 10 billion traditional devices are connected with clouds now. The concept where things are inter connected and working together in same application field is known as Internet of Things. The vibration sensor SW-420 is used to sense vibration. The sensor SW-420 is a 3-Pin digital sensor. The development platform used is Intel Galileo board. The key purpose of using Intel Galileo board is that it automates the hardware and software part with ease of using the efficient technologies and powerful processing of Intel quark processor. The board is connected to Cloud (Wyliodrin) through internet. With the compatibility of Intel Galileo board at Wyliodrin, the sensor data can be sense at remote place and can be accessed from anywhere using Internet. To access the specific board, Wyliodrin generates one wyliodrin.json file. This file is unique and specific to every board. Once the board is connected to Internet, the .json file send Active 1 signal to the cloud representing the specific board to be Online. Once, the cloud detects the board online, the developer is ready to run the code on the development board using internet. The vibration sensor SW-420 is connected to one of the analog pin of the board. At Wyliodrin the respective pin is accessed and is used to get sensor data. If the received data is greater than some threshold, using mail account and twilio account linked with cloud service, one mail is dropped on specified account with message of vibration level greater than some pre-defined level. Above this level, the earthquake chances are great. Hence, using twilio account (linked with cloud), the specified numbers are warned by sending text message & call.en_US
