dc.description.abstract | To remain competitive into the market company has to control various significant operating parameters like production rate, cycle time, customer demand, production cost etc. Cycle time being one of the most important parameter of the customer satisfaction every organization is attempting to squeeze the cycle time. In Transformer Manufacturing Company also cycle time is a major issue. Hence in this project work is carried out to reduce the cycle time using the lean manufacturing concept. First past data is collected and the timing of each process is obtained. Based on the data processes are identified consuming maximum time and hence contributing maximum to the total cycle time. In this project fixture design and automation approach is used to reduce the cycle time. | en_US |
