Abstract: Graphics Efficiency and Execution tool is a tool to automate the tracking of graphics related sightings. Whenever a customer(OEM/ODM) files a graphics sighting with Intel, the Graphics Software Application Engineers(AEs) are responsible for moving the issue from its replication stage to closure. Any reported issue goes through a chain of processes beginning from replication, debug, code-fix, testing to closure. While moving issues from one stage to another, the AEs have to send out action requests to engineers within and outside the team depending on the state of the issue. At present, sending out these requests is done by manually composing an email consisting of all the required details. To eradicate this, the tool brings together all these required details from the central database and the user can send out requests by simply submitting a pre-filled form. Moreover, it provides an intuitive interface to easily look for sightings that can be filtered by Platform, Operating System, Customer, etc. Apart from this, a user can save his/her favorite search criterion so that the effort of searching the same kind of sightings repeatedly is saved. In this way, the tool helps streamline the daily activities of AEs, thereby bringing in a significant improvement in efficiency.
