dc.description.abstract | In the vast field of manufacturing industry, and in the era of automation almost all the machines contains electronic controlled systems. It is necessary that these systems should be flexible and sleek, away from hazardous environment, convenient to control & ergonomically designed for efficient operations. Considering this, it is highly required to modify & redesign, these system which is known as Sli Suspension System and flame proof( Ex d) enclosures. The aim of the present work is to design & modify the electronic controls mounted on wall or top of the machine specifically known as Sli Suspension System. Design of each component of Sli System with basic design is done & further its static & dynamic analysis is been carried out in ANSYS. Results of which are found to be within acceptable limits. Real testing of fabricated Sli with horizontal deflection test and load carrying capacity has been done and system is found to be reliable for service. Next stage of the objective is to design & modify flame proof Exd enclosures which are used in hazardous environment ( working temperature +/- 60 degrees). Design with basic considerations & static analysis will be carries out using suitable softwares. Also manufacturing & testing will be carried out for checking the reliability of it. | en_US |
