dc.description.abstractPacking of cement is the most important part in the cement industry. In present scenario, most of all Indian company uses roto packer for packing of cement. The basic process is to insert the woven sack in the nozzle of roto packer manually, and with the use of automatic system the bags are filled with required amount of cement, and these bags are transferred on the conveyor belt or slider to the trucks where it’s unloading is done. In this present study the attempt is made to make the manual process fully automatic. The automatic bag placer is placed in front of roto packer, so the manual process of inserting bags in the nozzle of roto packer is deducted. The Automatic bag placer have requirement of wrinkle free bags, so suggestion to implement 5’s was given to reduce wrinkles. And for placing the empty cement bags on Bag placer, the empty cement bags are placed in container and pushed from one side so can remove required amount of bags. The gripper is developed which will pick empty cement bags from container and place on magazine in bag placer. The main advantage of the system is to increase the dispatch of the cement and decrease the man power.en_US
