Abstract

Packing and logistic is the major concerns of the industry. This sector remained Less attention seeking for research and development. In this department of logistics, Various types of automations of the systems are required for avoiding wastage of time Like in generation of model and drawing of wooden boxes, stuffing plan generation And calculating cubic feet etc. so all these processes are very time consuming due To lack of standardization and research. The main objective of this automation and standardization process is to automate All the processes in KHS machinery pvt. Ltd. Like automatic model generation, Automated stuffing plan, and automatic costing calculation. For this the One programming language required for integration of all these tasks. These all Will reduce the cycle time, production lead time etc. these will also reduce the Manufacturing lead time as well. Presently there is lot of wastage of time and money is occurred in KHS machinery Pvt. ltd. due to not automated standard software available for these logistics. This Is also due to non-standardization of working system. So that much time get wastes In data feeding for all boxes, generation of drawing, BOM and model itself. So here Effective utilization of time and money cannot takes place. In present study attempt was made to prevent the non-productive time during These various packing and logistics processes by automation. These was get done By using various standardized software like creo for generating models and drawing Of boxes and excel for preparing master files and costing data sheet. And also for Programming purpose programming language like visual studio customized with creo And Microsoft excel was used.
