Abstract: Reactors are used in chemical process plants, petrochemical industries and power plants. Creep analysis and fatigue analysis of reactor subjected to high temperature and cyclic loading are important in engineering applications. The assessment of life of reactor with and without crack is considered in work presented. The loading condition considered is creep, fatigue and creep-fatigue interaction under internal pressure and thermal loads. Damage is found using the standard API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 2007 and ASME Section III-NH.The finite element analysis is carried out at critical location of reactor like nozzle to head junction, head to shell junction for finding stress and strain.
