Oil injected twin-screw compressors are mostly used for medium pressure applications in various kind of industries. Various mathematical models are developed by researchers using fundamentals of mass conservation, energy conservation and equation of state. Present work deals with the analysis of working processes of oil injected screw compressor by previously developed mathematical model. An in-house code is developed for modeling and simulation of screw compressor working process. The effects of change in volume of working chamber on pressure of gas are studied in present work. For performance analysis of screw compressor leakage mass flow rate of oil and gas during working processes is determined. In this study the influence of operating parameters like suction temperature, rotational speed, and pressure ratio of compressor as well as the influence of design parameters such as blowhole area, interlobe clearance on performance of screw compressor are presented. In these present study performance characteristics of screw compressor like volumetric efficiency, adiabatic efficiency, and specific power are determined. In addition to using mathematical modeling, the performance analysis of screw compressor is also performed using thermodynamic software SCORG. The parametric study on screw compressor performance by using SCORG is also presented. For better performance of screw compressor interlobe clearance, blowhole area, oil injection temperature, pressure ratio should be small and rotational speed, suction temperature should be high. From volumetric efficiency and specific power point of view oil to gas mass ratio should be high but for adiabatic efficiency point of view it should be small.en_US
