Summary: MDR pose big challenge to human health and the QS inhibitors/ modulators are the one of the hope to tackle this problem. It is necessary to find the way because the organisms acquiring resistance is very high which generate alarm among human and it need to addressed as soon as possible. Quorum sensing is a cell-cell communication that allows bacteria to share information about cell density and adjust expression of gene. As bacterial pathogenicity is regulated by QS, therefore anti QS is a good idea to combat bacterial pathogenicity. The panchvalkal extract was found to be QS modulating activities in C. violaceum, S.marcescens, P.aeruginosa and S. aureus organisms. Many activities was already reported as process of sensitization, antibacterial, allergic reaction etc. Extract was also inhibiting biofilm formation in P. aeruginosa . It was successfully gave antibiotic susceptibility with 500μg/ml in S.marcescens. Solvents like methanol, ethanol and DMSO was known for their antibacterial activities. They may be provide some type of stress which leads to form more biofilm production in P. aeruginosa. Plant extracts was reconstituted in DMSO, so it was necessary to know the activities of solvents because there may be some synergetic effect with plant extract. As the storage length of plant extracts was enhanced the efficiency to inhibit the growth and violacein pigment was slightly lower in P. granatum EtOH, P.granatum MeOH and P. emblica. in C. violaceum. The time between the experiments was about 1 year. Compounds like cinnamic acid, 4P and 4K was subjected for their QS-modulatory activity in our study. We observed cinnamic acid and 4P was shown a QS inhibitory effect on C. violaceum. Wearies in 4K compound that was given QS-modulatory effect.en_US
