Pervious concrete mixture contains little or no sand, creating a substantial void content. Pervious concrete sometimes called to as no-fines concrete. It is a mixture of cement, coarse aggregate and water. Recycled aggregate in concrete can be benefits for environmental protection and econom- ical terms. The application of recycled aggregate has been started in many construction projects in many countries. Construction wastes are produced every year in India. The destruction of this waste is a very serious problem because very little destruction waste is reused. In this experimental study utilization of recycled aggregate in the production of the Pervious Concrete as a replacement of coarse aggregate. The main objective of this investigation is to be produce various mix proportion by replace- ment of recycled aggregate. In recycled aggregate pervious concrete various percentage of recycled aggregate was used for best suitable mix proportion. The main properties studied are compressive strength, density, void Content and permeability. For the measurement of permeability test falling head test method was used. Recycled Aggregate Pervious concrete is produced with different size of aggregate, differ- ent percentage of recycled aggregate and different water to cement ratio. After various combination produced with 10-06mm size aggregate having more compressive strength than 20-10mm size of aggregate. For pervious concrete as the density increases compres- sive strength increases while permeability decreases. During experimental investigation results shows that Recycled Aggregate pervious concrete having density around 1533.21 kg/m3 to 2052.1 kg/m3, compressive strength between 5.5 to 13.89 MPa, permeability between 17.44 to 22.84 mm/sec and void content between 18.25 to 24.01%. For the permeability studied various mix proportion are produced with variation in ce- ment content , sand percentage , different water to cement ration and different aggregate size. The main properties studied in this investigation is permeability with increasing sand content. After various combination produced 20-10mm size aggregate having more permeability than 10-06 mm size of aggregate. For pervious concrete as the Void content increases permeability increases while Compressive strength decreases.During experimental investigation results shows that pervious concrete having aggregate size of 20-10mm have permeability between 24.29 to 14.2 mm/sec, for increase in sand percentage(10%) the permeability ranges between 12.14 to 7.1 mm/sec and with increase in sand percentage(20%) permeability ranges between 6.07 to 3.5 mm/sec. And pervi- ous concrete having aggregate size of 10-06mm have Permeability between 23.28 to 11.5 mm/sec, for increase in sand percentage(10%) the permeability ranges between 11.64 to 5.75 mm/sec and with increase in sand percentage(20%) the permeability ranges between 5.82 to 2.87 mm/sec. Chapter 1 includes introduction of Recycled aggregate, pervious concrete, objective and scope of the investigation. Chapter 2 includes a literature survey for pervious concrete, Recycled concrete, Recycled Aggregate pervious Concrete and Pervious Concrete speci- men. Chapter 3 shows the experimental investigation of pervious Concrete. Chapter 4 shows the results of experimental investigation. And chapter 5 provides summary and conclusion of the experimental investigation.en_US
