Abstract: Following the induction of liver cancer, all the parameters showed a significant alteration, however, the response of the gut microflora showed a clear indication of significant dysbiosis which aggravated the inflammatory state. The response of the reversal dose regimen showed a mixed response. More investigation needs to be carried out to ascertain the most beneficial dose of volatile oil in treating both the liver pathogenicity as well as restoring the gut dysbiosis.
