Cloud computing is a modern paradigm to provide services over the Internet. Load balancing is a primary aspect of cloud computing which avoids the situation in which some nodes get overloaded while the others are idle or have little work to do. There are various strategies of load balancing to improve the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters like performance, cost, response time, throughput and resource utilization. Task scheduling is one of the challenging issues in cloud computing. Various dynamic load balancing algorithms provide solution for such a problem. This project addresses various techniques of dynamic load balancing and proposes ACO based dynamic load balancing technique to reduce cost of VM in cloud environment.en_US
