Abstract: Virtualization and Software De ned Networking(SDN) can be used to bring a monitoring solution to the virtual networks provisioned and deployed using opensource software like Mininet(Network Emulator) and OpenStack Software. This report focusses on how Network Capacity Planning can a ect the Organizations Business and how Software De ned Switch can be exploited to improvise the process of Network Capacity Planning.It also describes the process of creation of SDS using Mininet and managing it through OpenDayLight SDN Controller. As an Enterprise Solution we move to Openstack as a platform for provision and deployment of virtualized Networks which has many features and can be integrated to ODL to give the complete monitoring Solution to virtualized Lab setup and in turn reduce the overall costing and optimizing resource delivery time.
