dc.description.abstractBrain-Computer Interface (BCI) is a fast-growing emerging technology in which researchers aim to build a direct communication between the human brain and the computer. It takes to the new era of Bio-Medical Electronics.The BCI-DAQ hardware system having dedicated sensors for measurements of electrical activity which having signal range from micro volt to order of millivolts. These data are generated from various sensors operated by inductive and capacitive methods.DAQ hardware includes ADCs upto 32 channels, DAC up to 2 channels and 32 digital I/O, small LCD display,SD card storage and microcontroller. It also includes WiFi,USB and RS232connectivity to PC for data transfer using open standard protocol. Conceptual design is ready. Circuit diagram to be developed. PCB artwork shall be designed and developed. It includes design and development as well as testing of hardware.Application shall be developed in microcontroller for data communication through WiFi, Ethernet and RS232 and local storage in SD card memory. Finally, it shall process BCI related basic minimum data processing in microcontroller and display on local small LCD. It can work standalone as BCI product or work as connection to PC through standard interface.en_US
