Abstract: The Project "Secure configuration and automation of Batch scheduler post-provisioning cloud in Oracle Retail Merchandising System" has been divided into many modules. The first module deals with the or-patching,maven build optimization and installation. This includes the optimization of the maven build to reduce the overall time required for the system build. The second module is secure configuration of the web application which includes creating the security policies for accessing the protected resources and to prevent invalid data insertion. The third module deals with data conversion and the automation of the batch scheduling in which various nightly batches are scheduled by the scheduler. These nightly batches are to be executed after the financial day closes and before the next financial day reopens. The fourth module deals with the OAuth implementation in the Oracle environment for Rest services call between server applications. The fifth module deals with the testing, post provisioning the cloud.
