dc.description.abstractEvery day we are surfing many types of websites and portals to perform various types of activities like downloading, exploring, surfing, paying & purchasing & many more. There are many alternatives in web applications for such activities; Web platform provides ease of use to the end users, But it may or may not be trusted sometimes. There are always some loopholes or breakpoints in the systems. For any country, government websites contains very crucial and sensitive data of country, people, strategies and many more. Protection of these kinds of websites is the prior need. Here, it is being tried to carry out the major challenges behind Secure Web Application (SWApp) development and to bring a quality-assured, aesthetic and secure web application for lunar planetary missions of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Globally many planetary explorers available for planetary missions. Information Technology is highly evolving field. There are many web frameworks available for controllers, designing, modeling etc. Selection of best among them is another challenging task for a web developer. Though there are many software engineering and web application development approach helps in finding out the proper designing and implementation approach. Using such technologies and designing approach, it is being planned that to develop a highly secure web-GIS based application for all the types of users who are interested in research and study of planetary missions. Some basic as well as advanced security challenges in present web scenario will be taken care in this development, with aesthetic design as well.en_US
